Took a trip back up to Minneapolis this weekend. The weather was good for photographing cemeteries and shadows. Also had a chance to stop at Castle Rock Wayside Rest off Highway 94 in Wisconsin. An absolutely fabulous place that should be seen before it is gone.

I took a trip with a friend a couple of years ago during which we ended up sharing a camera. She mentioned that she always ends up with a picture of her own shadow, usually one she didn't even know she took at the time. Since then, I have been looking for interesting shadow pictures to send to her. I thought I would post some here as well.

I am keenly interested in the art and architecture of cemeteries.

I have been taking photos of cemeteries both in the area near where I live and around the world for a couple of years now.

I first became interested while visiting the Jewish Cemeteries in and around Prague, Czech Republic. I now make it a point to visit at least one cemetery everywhere I travel.

I hope someday to go to the Hill of Crosses in Lithuania. I know it isn't a cemetery. But still
